Retrofit Assessor in North East

Our client based in County Durham are looking for experienced Retrofit Assessors / Technical surveyors to work within domestic properties throughout the Northeast of England.

Job description

• To produce a high-quality PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment in line with current accreditation guides.
• Have a general understanding of ECO and the requirements of ECO funding.
• Prepare reports and make recommendations for cost effective ways to improve energy performance.
• Carry out technical surveys on domestic boilers.
• Liaise with assessors, customers and installers.
• Make recommendations based on assessment findings.

Person specification

• Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment
• PAS 2035 and Retrofit Assessment accreditation.
• Must have a full UK driving license.
• Ideally be Gas Safe registered and have experience working with gas appliances.
• Must be qualified with one of the approved member bodies (Stroma, Elmhurst, ECMK etc).
• Strong knowledge on technical surveys.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible, positive approach to work.
• Computer literate.
• Must have or be willing to do a basic DBS check before starting employment.
