The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Working in a cross-departmental role between the maintenance and despatch teams you will be responsible for general facility maintenance, labouring and providing general assistance to both departments.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorating: painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames
- Repairs and Maintenance: Building desks, chairs and carrying out general upkeep and maintenance of the building and external grounds, mowing lawn, etc.
- Operating scales to accurately count parts by weight
- Picking parts from stock
- Following specific customer packing instructions
- Ensuring accuracy of stock through careful counting and location of stock
- Packing parts for storage or shipment to the customer
- Understanding and achieving the correct quality standards within the team
- Assisting in other departments when required
- To comply with Health and Safety requirements

- Previous experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- FLT license
- Scissor lift license
- Manual handling experience
