Microbritt specialises in precision micro-manufacturing, using patented CNC micro-milling technology to produce high-quality components for industries such as healthcare, semiconductors, and photonics.
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Technician to join our team, working with advanced micro-milling technology to manufacture complex components with precision. This role offers the opportunity to engage in technical sales meetings, contribute to post-machine bonding processes, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:- Programming and operating CNC Inventor machines to produce high-precision components.
- Adjusting and optimizing CNC milling processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Working with brittle materials such as silicon, glass, and thermoplastics.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure components meet industry standards.
- Participating in technical sales meetings, providing expertise on machining capabilities.
- Handling post-machine bonding processes to enhance component durability.
- Developing and writing SOPs to standardise machining and bonding procedures.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with engineers to refine machining techniques and improve production.
- Following health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Experience in CNC machining, preferably in micro-manufacturing but not essential.
- Knowledge of CNC Inventor machine programming and precision milling techniques.
- Ability to work with delicate materials and maintain high accuracy.
