We are looking for a diligent Credit Control Assistant for an exciting opportunity within the property industry. You will have experience of being in a similar role within a fast-paced property company, a solid understanding of credit control processes and have confident customer service and IT skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments and debt by phone and email
- Producing relevant aged debtor reports with commentary
- Liaising with Property Management team in respect of collections process
- Follow a systemised debt chasing and collection system ensuring effective credit control whilst maintaining customer relationships
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Resolve debtor queries
- Sending out customer statements and invoices
- Liaising with external debt collectors by reviewing monthly reports and attending quarterly meetings
- Receiving and allocating merchant payments
- Ensuring the accuracy of our tenant ledgers
