We're looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Core Platforms team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the effective delivery of Zenith's Group products and services, managing the change process from demand management and technical requirements gathering through to successful implementation to time, cost, and quality.
You'll build and manage detailed plans that define how items in the product backlog will be defined, built, tested, and deployed, while maintaining progress reports and managing risks, issues, and resources.
At Zenith, ourcustomers benefit from the latest technology investment, including next-generation digitised fleet management services delivered via modernised portals and intelligent dashboards.
You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, project managers, and the Software Engineering Manager to ensure smooth delivery of programmes, small changes, and software patching.
- What's the Role
- Manage the relationship between business deliverables, cross-functional internal delivery, and technical delivery plans
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Retrospective sessions
- Monitor progress and performance, helping teams to make improvements
- Ensure the Software Engineering team are motivated, collaborating, and working well
- Identify obstacles and help the team overcome them
- Actively address internal and external risks, issues, and dependencies
- Work collaboratively with contracted suppliers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services
- What Can You Offer
- A strategic thinker with a proven history of delivering impactful tech projects, ideally in agile or consultancy settings
- Strong knowledge of using ADO Boards for managing delivery
- Knowledge of Dev Ops tools and methodologies
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience applying Agile principles in practice and selecting the best delivery methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capability
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage delivery teams
