We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will lead a team of management accountants, implementing robust processes and controls to deliver accurate and timely reporting for our Consumer & Corporate divisions. You will play a key role in audits, financial control, and process improvement, ensuring compliance and driving efficiency across the team. You will be part of a collaborative Finance team that works closely with senior leadership and other business functions. Together, we strive to deliver reliable insights, maintain compliance, and continuously improve processes to support Zenith's ambitious growth and transformation plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Management Accountants, implementing strong, robust processes and controls to ensure deadlines are met.
- Own the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely divisional monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) in line with FRS 102.
- Lead monthly P&L reviews with senior management and FP&A to explain performance and variances.
- Act as key point of contact for Finance Transformation projects and embed new processes and governance frameworks.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
- Manage interim and year-end audits, providing analysis and explanations as required.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and reviewed in line with group deadlines.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
Qualifications
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within a multi-divisional group structure.
- Proven experience leading a team of accountants with strong management skills.
- Sound technical skills and high level of numeracy.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify risks/issues promptly and implement resolution plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with senior stakeholders.
