Your Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Commercial Finance team in Altrincham.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our business by managing customer accounts, building strong relationships, and helping to drive financial performance.
You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where your contribution truly matters-helping us deliver a seamless, customer-first experience across the business.
As a Credit Controller, you'll take ownership of your own portfolio of accounts, ensuring a proactive and professional approach to credit management. You will:
- Build strong, positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Manage and reduce outstanding debt, ensuring timely collections
- Resolve customer queries quickly and efficiently with a customer-first mindset
- Monitor and manage credit limits in line with company policy
- Accurately record customer communications and payment promises
- Carry out bank reconciliations, cash posting, and allocation
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Credit Control Manager
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team success
