Your Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Credit Controller to join our Commercial Finance team in Altrincham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our business by managing customer accounts, building strong relationships, and helping to drive financial performance. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high‑performing team where your contribution truly matters—helping us deliver a seamless, customer‑first experience across the business.

As a Credit Controller, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio of accounts, ensuring a proactive and professional approach to credit management. You will:

  • Build strong, positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage and reduce outstanding debt, ensuring timely collections
  • Resolve customer queries quickly and efficiently with a customer‑first mindset
  • Monitor and manage credit limits in line with company policy
  • Accurately record customer communications and payment promises
  • Carry out bank reconciliations, cash posting, and allocation
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Credit Control Manager
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team success
