Zenith Flooring is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to oversee the safe, efficient and professional delivery of resin flooring projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site labour, subcontractors, site safety, quality standards and client communication whilst ensuring projects are delivered on programme and in accordance with company procedures.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Management- Supervise daily site activities and workforce.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
- Manage Zenith operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Coordinate labour and resources to maximise productivity.
- Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues immediately.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements.
- Conduct daily site briefings and toolbox talks.
- Ensure RAMS are understood and followed by all personnel.
- Enforce site-specific safety rules and permit requirements.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Complete site inspections and safety checks.
- Report accidents, near misses and safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout projects.
- Inspect works throughout installation.
- Ensure preparation, application and finishing standards are maintained.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions immediately.
- Carry out snagging inspections prior to project completion.
- Ensure projects are handed over to the required standard first time.
- Monitor labour productivity and site attendance.
- Ensure labour is utilised effectively.
- Report labour requirements and shortages to Contracts Manager.
- Monitor subcontractor performance.
- Ensure materials are used efficiently and wastage is minimised.
- Verify materials delivered to site are correct and complete.
- Report shortages, damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure plant, tools and equipment are maintained and used correctly.
- Monitor material consumption against project requirements.
- Act as the primary Zenith representative on site.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Attend site meetings where required.
- Provide daily progress updates to Contracts Manager.
- Escalate client concerns immediately.
- Complete daily site reports.
- Record labour, progress and delays.
- Maintain permit records and site documentation.
- Ensure photographs are taken before, during and after works.
- Assist with project handovers and sign-offs.
- Previous Site Supervisor experience.
- Experience within the resin flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of resin flooring preparation and application.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work nationwide and stay away when required.
