About Zenith Flooring
Zenith Flooring specialises in the professional delivery of high-quality resin flooring systems across the UK. We work across demanding industrial and commercial environments, including pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing and food production sites.
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Resin Floor Layer to take responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional delivery of our resin flooring projects nationwide.
This is a hands-on working supervisor role. You will be expected to actively carry out resin flooring preparation, mixing, application and finishing alongside the site team, as well as supervising operatives and subcontractors.
The Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will be the main Zenith representative on site. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations while also being an active member of the installation team.
You must be a competent and experienced resin floor layer and be prepared to work on the tools when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on installation of resin flooring systems.
- Carrying out floor preparation, mixing, application and finishing to a high standard.
- Supervising daily site activities, operatives and subcontractors.
- Leading by example and working alongside the installation team.
- Planning and coordinating labour and resources to maximise productivity.
- Ensuring projects remain on programme and reporting delays or issues promptly.
- Conducting daily site briefings and toolbox talks.
- Ensuring RAMS, permits, PPE requirements and site-specific safety procedures are followed.
- Carrying out regular site inspections and safety checks.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Monitoring the preparation, application and finishing of resin flooring systems.
- Inspecting workmanship and resolving defects immediately.
- Completing snagging inspections before project handover.
- Monitoring labour attendance, productivity and subcontractor performance.
- Checking material deliveries and reporting shortages, damage or discrepancies.
- Monitoring material usage and minimising unnecessary waste.
- Ensuring plant, tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained.
- Building professional relationships with clients and attending site meetings when required.
- Providing clear daily progress updates to the Contracts Manager.
- Completing daily site reports, labour records, permits and other required documentation.
- Taking photographs before, during and after works.
- Supporting project handovers and client sign-offs.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven hands-on resin flooring installation experience.
- The ability to prepare, mix, apply and finish resin flooring systems to a high standard.
- You must be willing and able to work on the tools as part of the site team.
- Previous Site Supervisor or team-leading experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of resin flooring preparation, application and finishing.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to manage operatives and subcontractors professionally.
- A strong commitment to health & safety and quality workmanship.
- The ability to communicate confidently with clients, site management and the Zenith team.
- The flexibility to travel nationwide and stay away from home when projects require it.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
It would be advantageous if you also hold or have experience with:
- First Aid at Work.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Confined Space Training.
- COMAH sites.
- Pharmaceutical environments.
- Chemical facilities.

- Food production environments.

Additional Information
This is a hands-on Site Supervisor position and not a management-only role. You will be expected to install resin flooring and work alongside your team as required.
This is also a UK-wide role, so regular travel and overnight stays will be required depending on project location.
Some projects may require out-of-hours, weekend or shutdown working to meet client and programme requirements.
