Our renowned Client, who provide energy and water to communities around the world, are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Drilling Materials Coordinator for a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UKCS.

The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector directly at Operator level.
  • Liaises with Drilling Supervisor and Onshore Logistics Co-ordinators to ensure equipment and materials arrive offshore in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for preparing & issuing daily look ahead reports (forecasting) in conjunction with Drilling Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all operations are being carried out in accordance with the UK regulations for safe packing and handling.
  • Liaise closely with the Drilling Supervisor to prepare load lists and daily look ahead reports.
  • Check all equipment offshore and ensure the Onshore DMC is aware of any non-conformances.
  • Liaise with aviation providers to coordinate crew changes and flight schedules.
  • Work onshore as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
  • The successful incumbent will have extensive offshore experience working as a Drilling Materials Coordinator.
  • Applicants must have good working knowledge of drilling, completion and well intervention equipment.
  • A working knowledge of UK Guidelines for the safe Packing and Handling of Cargo to and from Offshore Locations Issue 4 2008 (HS014).
  • Applicants must have good working knowledge of UK Customs and Excise requirements.
  • All applicants must have a valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea certification.
  • This is an offshore role therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST) are required for this role.
  • All candidates must have The Right To Work In The UK, as no sponsorship is available.
