We are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join our site team based at Fawley Refinery. You will work as part of our site team to deliver structural solutions on existing petrochemical assets. At Zenith we continually provide a high-quality service for our clients, and you will be required to become a key part of the team to deliver solutions at Fawley.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out structural surveys and inspections to identify defects.
  • Setting out and providing technical oversight for the installation of both temporary works and permanent structural solutions.
  • Preparing structural solutions and co-ordinating details for further engineering assessment/design with our engineering teams based in Edinburgh and Luton.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and as-built surveys.
  • Supporting compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills to report structural defects and to co-ordinate structural solutions.
  • Working knowledge of site survey equipment.
  • Ability to interpret structural drawings and use of problem-solving skills to provide outline solutions.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD software.
  • Team player to become an integral part of the site team.

Qualifications

  • Min HND in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Salary dependant on experience, minimum 2-3 years UK experience.
  • PAYE role only.
