Role Overview:
- Sign on the buying offices and/or sister companies of major clients across Zenith Bank PLC (ZB PLC) and other subsidiaries in Africa, with an aim of extending the Bank’s franchise globally.
- Originate and sign on borrowing and non-borrowing Large corporate and blue chip borrowing and non-borrowing corporate clients operating globally.
- Cross selling of the bank’s products.
Role Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new client relationships, as well as manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Lead the preparation and processing of credit applications and other associated documentation for existing and potential loan facilities.
- Ensure a proper digital filing of all facility and transaction documents.
- Ensure all designated customer credit files are up to date.
- Monitor the changing business environment, and its effects on credit risks and potential business opportunities.
- Ensure good communication with other internal departments within Zenith Bank UK, as well as other Zenith Group subsidiaries.
- Conducting client visits and attending networking opportunities.
- Drive account onboarding for relationships that meet the Bank’s risk acceptance criteria.
- Prepare file notes to justify the onboarding of new quality Banking relationships and follow through with the onboarding department and Compliance.
- Prepare presentations and present the team’s performance at Monthly Performance Reviews.
- Attending marketing meetings and provide updates of new trends, products, and opportunities.
- Ensure prompt escalation and resolution of customer complaints.
- Abreast with reporting of irregularities and customer KYC, AML etc.
- Conduct and prepare daily account transaction reviews to minimize operational risks.
- Timely completion of account reviews and other adhoc report required from time to time.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Degree educated with minimum of 5 years of Banking experience – preferably with most of those years within a Core Corporate Banking function.
- Be knowledgeable in loan structuring.
- Experienced in analysing Financial Statements.
- Proficiency in the use of Ms word, excel, power point and financial modelling skills.
- Knowledge of loan syndication processes, and documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Results orientated, proactive and a self-starter.
- Embraces challenge and an evolving environment.
- Confident in achieving excellent operational and service delivery.
This is a permanent position paying up to ÂŁ65,000 based on experience.
