As Technical Support Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and launch of new products whilst ensuring existing product ranges continue to meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer expectations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, customers, sales teams and quality professionals in a business that values technical excellence and professional development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing all New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) activities across the site.
  • Coordinating the technical aspects of product launches.
  • Maintaining customer and product specifications.
  • Overseeing artwork approvals and managing packaging and chemical compliance requirements.
  • Conducting competitor product analysis and supporting site audits.
  • Coordinating product validation activities and ensuring all technical documentation is maintained to the highest standard.
  • Supporting the creation of Production Information Files and managing raw material documentation.
  • Working closely with Quality and Operations teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.

This is a highly visible role requiring excellent communication, project management and technical problem-solving skills.

ZAP are searching for candidates with previous experience within a Technical, Quality or Product Development role within a FMCG manufacturing environment. An audit qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
