They have a strong pipeline of projects secured, with 80% of their order book for next year already sealed, and are exploring multiple tender opportunities to continue their growth.
A highly experienced and motivated Design Manager is required to lead and coordinate the design process for high-value fit out and refurbishment projects across commercial, retail, leisure, and education sectors.
The ideal Design Manager will possess a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex schemes through the full life cycle of the project.
As Design Manager you will join the Senior Leadership Team and will have control over the design elements of the following:
- Pre-Construction / Estimating
- Design Management - Tender stage through to construction
- Programme & Planning
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison
- Documentation & Reporting
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience in Design Management within the fit out or refurbishment sector.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UK construction legislation, Building Regulations, CDM 2015, and statutory approval processes.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
