A fast growing Financial Crime/Decision Intelligence vendor are looking for a talented Solution Engineer to join a high-performing team supporting key clients in the public sector space. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to shape strategic opportunities and showcase how our Decision Intelligence solutions deliver real impact. If you love combining technical problem-solving with business storytelling, this is the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Sales to design and present winning technical solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions, demos, and proof-of-concept projects.
- Translate complex technology into clear business outcomes for government and defence clients.
- Represent the company at key industry events and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that drive long‑term value.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Solution Engineering, Presales, Technical Sales, or Value Consulting.
- Technical or domain expertise in areas like data analytics, decision intelligence, or financial crime prevention.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software solutions within UK policing, defence, or intelligence sectors.
- Knowledge of government or public security environments (Home Office, NCA, MoD, etc.)
- Knowledge of public sector challenges such as tax evasion, border risk, or fraud detection.
- Hands‑on experience with demos, workshops, or PoCs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills — confident engaging audiences from technical teams to executives.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in data‑driven or analytical solutions (e.g. Graph, MDM, Advanced Analytics).
- Familiarity with cloud, distributed, or containerized tech (e.g. Spark, Databricks, Kubernetes, Elastic).
