An innovative and rapidly growing analytics software company is looking to appoint a Senior Account Executive to drive enterprise sales growth across the UK. This organisation has developed a highly advanced analytics platform used globally by government agencies, intelligence organisations, and major enterprises to tackle some of the world’s most complex challenges including fraud, financial crime, money laundering, organised crime, and security threats.
Following continued international growth, they are now expanding their commercial sales capability within the private sector, with a particular focus on large enterprise and financial services organisations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced enterprise software sales professional looking to join a business operating at the forefront of graph analytics, AI, and investigative technology.
The Senior Account Executive Opportunity
As a Senior Account Executive, you will take ownership of developing and growing enterprise commercial accounts across your territory. The role combines both new business acquisition and strategic account development, targeting large, sophisticated organisations looking to modernise their analytics and investigative capabilities. You’ll work closely with technical pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to manage the full enterprise sales lifecycle - from lead generation and qualification through to negotiation, contract management, and deal closure. The position requires a highly consultative and technically credible sales approach, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Account Executive
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across enterprise commercial accounts
- Build and execute strategic account plans across key target organisations
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Engage directly with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and procurement functions
- Deliver compelling presentations and product positioning
- Conduct high-level product demonstrations and technical discussions
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers and partners
What They’re Looking For in a Senior Account Executive
- ~4-5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience
- Strong background selling analytics, fraud, AML, KYC, investigative, or intelligence-led solutions
- Experience selling into large enterprise organisations, ideally within financial services
- Strong consultative and technical sales capability
- Comfortable engaging with IT Architects, technical stakeholders, and senior executives
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Existing network within the target market (UK finserv)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work autonomously within a remote environment
- Native-level English
Nice to haves
- Experience with Graph Analytics, AML, or fraud investigative analytics platforms
- Technical or engineering background
- Additional European language skills, particularly French
