Warehouse Operative - Full Time

We are looking for committed Full-Time Warehouse Operatives to become integral members of our energetic team. In this role, you will help ensure that our warehousing operations run smoothly, thereby supporting the needs of our growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders using handheld scanners and our warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Receive incoming stock, verifying items against delivery notes, and organize inventory accurately.
• Safely load and unload shipments, using manual handling or MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) as required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits using digital tracking tools.
• Report issues such as discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in continual improvement efforts.
• Work towards and achieve daily/weekly performance metrics concerning accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety (if applicable), and Quality Assurance standards.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in working with technology such as barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment and meeting productivity goals.
• Physically capable of performing lifting and carrying tasks safely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to work full-time hours, including flexibility for shifts and overtime if necessary.
• A commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Holding a Forklift Truck (FLT) or Reach Truck license is a plus but not required.
