Event Marketing Manager – Zencargo

The Events Manager will lead and deliver Zencargo’s global events programme, creating high-quality experiences that strengthen our brand, deepen customer relationships, and drive commercial growth across the UK, Europe, and the USA. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will own the planning and execution of major industry conferences, hosted customer experiences, and flagship Zencargo moments that showcase our expertise, community, technology, and market ambition.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Zencargo’s global events programme, planning and delivering the annual calendar across the UK, the Benelux, and the USA, ensuring every event aligns with brand and commercial priorities.
- Lead the end‑to‑end execution of sponsored and industry events (e.g., TPM, DELIVER, Richmond), managing logistics, suppliers, AV, booth builds, travel, merchandise, and on‑site delivery.
- Run Zencargo’s hosted events, including Retail Breakfasts, Beauty Supply Chain Dinners, and regional customer experiences, building scalable formats that deliver impactful regional moments.
- Lead the execution of Zencargo’s flagship annual customer event, overseeing venue sourcing, supplier management, guest communications, content coordination, and on‑site operations.
- Develop and grow the Zencargo Supply Chain Community, creating curated experiences that expand reach, deepen engagement, and strengthen our industry presence.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, contracts, and project plans to ensure efficient planning, smooth execution, and consistently high‑quality delivery.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Content, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to align assets, messaging, attendance driving efforts, and follow‑up.
- Oversee event reporting, capturing insights and performance data to drive continuous improvement and maximise ROI.
- Ensure every event delivers a seamless, on‑brand, memorable experience for prospects and customers in every market.

- Logistics & Supplier Management: Experienced in coordinating AV, venues, catering, booth builds, merchandise, travel, shipping, and on‑site operations.
- Budget Ownership: Manage and track event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and make cost‑effective decisions.
- Marketing Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with tools like Salesforce, event registration platforms, and email tools such as Mailchimp.
- Project & Timeline Management: Build and manage detailed project plans, runbooks, timelines and workflows.
- Reporting & Performance Analysis: Track event outcomes, engagement metrics, and learnings.
- Brand Execution: Ensure all event materials, messaging, and experiences align with Zencargo’s brand standards.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Sourced, managed, and evaluated suppliers and partners.
