We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 2D computer-aided design using the AutoCAD suite. This role involves collaborating with the team and clients to create precise designs and schematics for telecommunications, M&E, EV & Solar Parks projects. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The Role is primarily in the Mobile Telecoms Infrastructure field and experience of this would be advantageous but not essential, and training will be given to the right Candidate.
Responsibilities- Develop detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD LT.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality or address client feedback.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant regulations and standards within the telecommunications industry.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design processes and revisions.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Proficiency in the AutoCAD suite, particularly AutoCAD LT.
- Ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- A desire to learn new skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members.
- The ideal candidate would be from a technical background such as Engineering, Construction etc.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
- UK Full Driving License.
