Salary: starting from 3,000 EU
Key responsibilities:
- Technical accounting for ZEN UAB
- Collection of data related to PSP (Payment Service Provider) transactions from the Settlement department
- Distribution of collected data by individual PSP’s
- Processing and systematization of collected data by individual PSP, checking of processed data
- Posting clients’ accounts bank statements, checking of posed bank accounts records
- Other postings required for closing accounting periods: Reconciliation of records with the general ledger accounts and client’s bank accounts
- Recording of data into accounting system related to bank’s transactions
- Reconciliation and check of bank’s data from bank statements
- Maintain Fixed asset register and record all related accounting adjustments
- Maintain accounting records up to date – invoices, payroll, prepayments, accruals, other adjustments
- Prepare various reports for management and financial reporting
- Reconciliation of accounting accounts to performed transactions
- Participation in the month-end closing process
- Participation in the process of circulation of accounting documents (archiving, checking in terms of formal and accounting)
- Data reconciliation between reports and systems
- Tax calculations – VAT and corporation tax - Lithuania
- Review and ensure correctness of financial transactions
- Ensure efficient workflow of accounting documentation
- Optimization of accounting processes
We're looking for people with:
- Higher economic education (major in accounting and finance or related)
- +3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a similar position in accounting and finance
- Experience in banking / fintech sector / EMIs
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and Power Point
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is a must
- Willingness to further professional development and meet new challenges
- Analytical thinking skills
- Very good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of tax regulations and the Accounting Act
- Timeliness, meticulousness
- Initiative in daily work
- Easy making new contacts and building relationships, the ability to work in a team
