We\’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Order Manager to join our Order Management Team. In this role, you\’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of our connectivity services, ensuring customer orders are implemented accurately and delivered on time.
You\’ll work closely with customers, internal teams, and key suppliers to manage orders through every stage of the provisioning journey. This includes coordinating activities, resolving issues, and keeping stakeholders informed with clear and timely updates.
This role would suit someone with strong organisational and analytical skills who enjoys problem solving and delivering a great customer experience. Experience within a telecommunications, ISP, or managed services environment would be highly beneficial.
This salary range for this role is £24,570 to £26,000, depending on experience.
What you\’ll do
- Manage connectivity orders from initiation through to successful delivery
- Take ownership of multiple orders at different stages of provisioning, ensuring progress stays on track
- Provide a high level of customer service through calls, emails, and live chat, resolving queries and keeping customers updated
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth order delivery
- Work closely with suppliers to progress orders and meet agreed delivery timescales
- Raise and manage internal and external escalations where required
- Track order progress and proactively identify risks or potential delays
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, or products that enhance the customer experience
What you\’ll bring
- Experience in Order Management, Provisioning, or Service Delivery, ideally within an ISP or Managed Services Provider
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with telecoms suppliers such as BT Openreach and BT Wholesale
- A customer-first mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot issues and find practical solutions
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under deadlines
