(Insider Media; Nov 2023). A locally owned hospitality group with serious aspirations, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join Zen Group. We own 4 of Durham’s most popular and exciting venues; Zen, Tango, The Rabbit Hole and Whitechurch. We are investing and expanding. Along with recently acquiring Whitechurch Durham, we have relocated Tango to a brand new venue and renovated The Rabbit Hole. We are passionate about our venues and our people and are investing in both. What We Need… We are looking for experienced mixologists and bar tenders. We need team who are knowledgeable, passionate about beverage crafting and who are great with customers, able to suggest drinks for food pairings, or matching and crafting cocktails to customer likes. We want our bar tenders and mixologists to love what they do, and love sharing their knowledge with their team and their customer base. You need to have a wealth of experience behind the bar, a flare for mixology, be brimming with personality, have a friendly nature and a proactive and can-do attitude. You will take pride in your role and share your creativity and ideas with the team, your management and the business owners. We really want team who get involved, make suggestions and mould their environment through great ideas and effective teamworking. To take on this role you will need to have the confidence and skill set to work independently in a fast paced environment and have extensive knowledge of classic and innovative drinks that exceed our customer needs and expectations. We also want to see you! We want you to run your drinks to your customer, talk to your customers at the table and pitch in with food running and serving at busy times.
