This role is the first of its kind. You will launch UNHCR's very first face-to-face fundraising campaign in the United Kingdom.

About UNHCR – The UN Refugee Agency

UNHCR is the United Nations agency mandated to protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people worldwide. Founded in 1950 in the aftermath of World War II, UNHCR operates in over 130 countries, delivering life-saving aid, legal protection, and durable solutions to more than 117 million displaced people globally.

The Opportunity

This is a career-defining opportunity for a driven fundraising professional to make history. As London F2F Campaign Manager, you will build and lead the entire ground operation for UNHCR's inaugural face-to-face fundraising campaign in the UK — recruiting and training a high-performing team, managing day-to-day London operations, and directly driving the results that fund life-saving work around the world.

Why this matters: Face-to-face fundraising generates some of the most committed, long-term donors for humanitarian causes. By building this campaign from scratch, you will create a sustainable income stream that funds protection and assistance for refugees and displaced people for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and oversee all London face-to-face fundraising operations for UNHCR's inaugural UK campaign, setting standards of quality, compliance, and donor experience from day one.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of F2F fundraisers, building a talent pipeline that supports sustained campaign growth.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes covering UNHCR's mission, fundraising techniques, compliance standards, and professional conduct.
  • Drive and monitor field performance, setting weekly and monthly targets, analysing results, and implementing action plans to maximise donor acquisition and quality.
  • Manage daily team deployment across London locations, ensuring effective site selection and resource allocation.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with UNHCR stakeholders, providing regular campaign updates and performance reporting.
  • Ensure full compliance with CIoF guidelines, GDPR, and UNHCR donor care standards at all times.
  • Coach and motivate fundraisers through regular field observations, one-to-ones, and team meetings, fostering a purpose-led and high-energy culture.
  • Manage operational budgets and contribute to campaign strategy, forecasting, and planning.

About You

  • Proven experience in Face-to-Face or Private Site Fundraising, ideally in a team leader or management capacity.
  • A genuine passion for humanitarian causes and the work of UNHCR — you will be an ambassador for one of the world's most important organisations.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of motivating and developing field teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident engaging with the public and inspiring colleagues.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance data and adapt quickly.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and donor care.
  • Experience managing recruitment and training processes is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of CIoF regulations and sector compliance is an advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary - £40,000 Per annum.
  • Performance Bonus Uncapped. Based on campaign results.
  • Holiday - 28 Days Including bank holidays.
  • Career Development Fast-Track. Grow with a pioneering campaign.
  • Working Pattern Mon WFH Tuesday – Friday in the Field.
  • Paid voluntary day every quarter for charity of choice.
  • Regular Team Socials and Events.
