We are looking for a creative educator with experience teaching across KS3-KS4 who can inspire students to explore performance, composition and musical appreciation across a variety of styles. This is a full-time position, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The successful applicant will earn a minimum of £144 a day, rising to £200 a day depending on qualifications, experience and performance in any school trial.
What you will need to succeed:
- You will have a relevant teaching background delivering Music at secondary level.
- We are seeking someone confident, adaptable and energetic, with a genuine passion for music education and empowering students to express themselves.
- Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, this role offers opportunities to grow your practice and enrich young people's cultural development.
- The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with performance skills, ensemble work, composition, listening and appraisal in classroom or rehearsal settings.
The ideal Music Teacher should:
- Be Qualified / Newly Qualified / Experienced in teaching Music
- Have a relevant background - Music, Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Secondary Teaching, SEND or mainstream education
- Have experience delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum content
- Be flexible, patient and confident teaching a variety of musical activities
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Be available to work 8.30am-4.00pm
