We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join an amazing team within a special resource base within a Secondary school in Cardiff. The base fosters an inclusive, supporting and fun environment for pupils with Additional Learning Needs, helping with daily tasks and life skills. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: * Assist classroom teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students * Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning * Implement individual education plans (IEPs) * Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported * Collaborate with teachers & professionals, assisting with personal care tasks & helping learners develop social & emotional skills Teaching Assistant requirements: * A passion for supporting other * Experience working supporting needs such as Autism & ADHD * Experience managing difficult behaviour & de-escalating situations is desirable * Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service (or happy to process one through ZEN) * Fluent in English * A v…
