Are you an enthusiastic teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? Zen Educate are currently recruiting for a Taunton Primary School. We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join the team on a job-share basis, covering a maternity leave for a lovely mixed Year 3/4 Class.
The Role
You will take the reins of a mixed Year 3/4 class every Tuesday. This is a wonderfully diverse, mixed-ability class that includes children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will have the dedicated support of an experienced Teaching Assistant in the classroom to help you tailor lessons and ensure every child thrives. The Key Stage 2 department consists of three classes in total. You will benefit from collaborative team planning with the other class teachers, meaning you get to share ideas, resources, and workloads. As part of the job share, you will be expected to handle the planning, teaching, and marking for your designated days, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of learning for the children alongside your job-share partner.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for Key Stage 2 education.
- Someone with a warm, adaptive teaching style who can support and challenge a mixed-ability class.
- An understanding of (or willingness to learn about) supporting children with SEN.
- A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with team members and your job-share partner.
- ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are very welcome to apply! We offer a supportive environment to help you develop your practice.
