Overview

Hi, I\'m Lucy, Senior Marketing Manager at Zen Educate. I\'m looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to take ownership of marketing project execution, sales enablement, and growth initiatives.

What are we building and why?

Getting the right teacher into the right school at the right time is a crucial problem to solve, both for education outcomes for children and for the sustainability of an industry that spends billions on this. Since launching in 2017, we\'ve saved schools over £30 million and we\'re just getting started. In 2024, we closed the largest EdTech round in Europe and are expanding fast. We are well established in the UK and growing at a phenomenal rate in the US. What we need now is to reach the next level in how we build our platform and customer lifecycle automations to support this growth.

What do you actually do?

  • Own execution & campaigns: Drive B2B lead generation and brand awareness projects end-to-end. Manage and grow our social media presence with engaging, on-brand content (LinkedIn, YouTube). Plan, organise, and run webinars that engage customers and partners.
  • Enable sales & growth: Create and evolve marketing and sales enablement materials that help the sales team win. Collaborate with regional teams to deliver tailored marketing support. Experiment with new tactics, channels, and tools.
  • Build partnerships & drive awareness: Identify, establish, and manage partnerships with other brands to expand reach and build brand awareness. Nurture long-term relationships that create mutual value and open doors to new audiences.

Why this role is unique

You’ll take full ownership of marketing project execution to show real impact. You’ll get to balance planning and execution, shaping campaigns while delivering them. You’ll collaborate across teams and regions, making a direct impact on our growth.

Stage 3 (in the office)

  • Task and review: I’ll send over a short growth marketing-focused task for you to complete at home. You’ll then talk it through with me and one of our team leads, explaining your thinking and approach.
  • Cultural interview: You’ll meet with future teammates to explore how you work, what motivates you, and how we can make sure you’ll thrive here.

Perks & benefits

  • Work that you want to talk about.
  • Ownership in the company.
  • 25+ days of holiday (increases with tenure).
  • On-site gym, showers, bike parking & café at our Central London office.
  • Electric car & Cycle to Work schemes.
  • Coaching, life insurance & health insurance.
  • Fun-loving, mission-driven team.

Interested?

Let’s go! If you read all of the above and are excited (maybe even a little nervous) about the opportunity and how we work, then I recommend applying now. If you skipped or skimmed the above, feel free to apply anyway, but you’re missing a bunch of useful information that could streamline the process for you.

What makes you a great fit

  • You’ve got 3+ years’ marketing experience (B2B is a bonus).
  • You know your way around social media, content, and marketing campaigns.
  • You’re comfortable managing multiple projects at once, and you always deliver.
  • You’ve planned and executed webinars or online events before.
  • You enjoy building partnerships and thinking creatively about collaborations.
  • You’ve got a growth mindset – always curious, always improving.

Nice to have (but not essential)

  • Experience with content tools like Canva.
  • Background in demand generation or growth marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and analytics platforms.

What won’t work here

If you want everything handed to you, this role is about ownership and initiative. If you avoid experimentation, we need someone who’s eager to test and learn constantly. If you’d rather avoid talking to people and just piece together lots of small bits in isolation – this role is about collaboration, communication, and connecting the dots together, not working in a silo. If you shy away from responsibility, this role comes with clear targets, so accountability is key.
