About the Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at a SEN-school in Tiverton. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting and educating students with special educational needs. You will work closely with students, their families, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Teachers will be paid in line with the main pay scales depending on their experience. Responsibilities: – Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN – Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles – Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support – Collaborate with other teachers and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) – Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students – Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings and parent conferences Requirements: – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEN settings – Strong understanding of different types of special educational needs and strategies to support them – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families – Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN – Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students – Excellent organizational and time management skills – Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: On-site parking Referral programme Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Who is Zen Educate?
