Secondary teachers needed in Torquay with an immediate start Zen Educate is looking for a full-time, Secondary teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and inspiring students to learn and achieve. This position would be in our Torquay location. Two amazing secondary schools are looking for English, History, Geography teachers to join their inclusive teams. Responsibilities: Encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination Create a positive learning environment that encourages engagement, self-esteem, and self-efficacy Collaborate with parents and other teachers in order to create a learning community that meets the needs of each student Communicate effectively with parents and students via the iPad app or phone app Develop an understanding of the cultural backgrounds of students Qualifications: Must have a passion for teaching students from all backgrounds Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with parents, students, teachers, and administration Must be able to work well under pressure with a deadline and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have strong imagination and critical thinking skills. Benefits: We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience.
