This is a full-time on-site role for a Teaching Assistant, based in Sandwell. The Teaching Assistant will support classroom activities, assist teachers in delivering lessons, and provide individual help to target students as needed across EYFS and KS1.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervising target children during activities
  • Interventions and behaviour management
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching and learning or equivalent

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Strong behaviour management
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and remain flexible in supporting various teaching styles and educational needs
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational environment, is preferred
  • Passion for supporting the learning and development of students, with a patient and empathetic attitude
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices and commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students
  • Basic organisational and classroom management skills
