A North Liverpool Nursery School and Family Centre are seeking a qualified Level 3 practitioner in Early Years and Childcare with SEND experience. It is vital you have experience in child development to apply for this role.\\n\\nThe Centre\\n\\nIn the Centre for Nurture, the ratios are one adult to three or four children. There are approx 9-10 children in the room with three staff.\\n\\nThe Hours\\n\\nThe role is full time.
The centre is open 48 weeks a year. Flexibility will be required in the role, for example to be part of early (8am) and late shifts (up to 5.15pm) as well as the main core day (8.30am to 4pm)\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nTo provide support for children aged 2-5 in the Centre for Nurture and support children with special educational needs and disability as and when required. (ASD, ADHD, speech and language and communication difficulties- non-verbal)\\n\\nTo provide support to the class teacher and work as part of a successful team of early years practitioners, delivering the highest quality of education with care.\\n\\nTo contribute to the design and maintenance of a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment.\\n\\nTo contribute and plan for the preparation, delivery and evaluation of high quality learning experiences that enhance children’s physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral development.\\n\\nQualifications and Training Relevant experience of working with children within the EYFS within a school setting and attained Grade 3 or equivalent in Early Years and Childcare.\\n\\nRelevant experience of working with children 2-5 years with special educational needs and disability in an early years setting;\\n\\nSkills:\\n\\nAbility to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities;\\n\\nAbility to build effective working relationships with all children and colleagues; Ability to promote a positive ethos and role model positive attributes;\\n\\nExcellent personal numeracy, literacy and IT skills and have effective written and communication skills;\\n\\nAbility to work with children with challenging behaviour.\\n\\nKnowledge and Understanding\\n\\nDeep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)\\n\\nDeep understanding of special educational needs and disability (SEND), especially within a school setting;\\n\\nEssential Requirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Nursery/EYFS Experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Level 3 Childcare qualification\\n\\n * \\n\\n SEN Experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Speech, Language, Communication Experience\\n\\nWhy Join Zen Educate?\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive pay and career progression opportunities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support in securing a role that matches your skills and experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n The opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education\\n\\nApply Now\\n\\nIf you meet the qualifications and are ready for a rewarding EYFS, SEN Practitioner role we’d love to hear from you!\\n\\nZen Educate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
