A christian faith primary school in the Rubery/Randell area of Birmingham is looking for full-time Primary Teaching Assistant to join their specialist team. This role specifically focuses on KS1 SEN support, providing additional assistance to children with Special Educational Needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the development and progress of all pupils in the classroom.This is a full time position, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners., The school is looking for someone who is keen to develop and will thrive by working collaboratively within a wonderful supportive team. This role may also include supporting children 1:1. You will be an excellent fit for this role if you are encouraging, hard-working and caring.   • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

  • Knowledge, understanding and/or experience of Special Educational Needs

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with children with additional needs

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)

  • Be flexible, proactive and patient

  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team

  • Be committed to work full-time
