SEN Teaching Assistant – Regular School Cover Location: Dudley, Halesowen & Stourbridge, West Midlands Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply Salary: Competitive Daily Rates – Dependent on Experience The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant We are currently seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide regular support across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Dudley, Halesowen, and Stourbridge areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment. Opportunities are available for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements across a variety of educational settings. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND * Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties * Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions * Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment * Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social development * Adapt learning resources to meet individual pupil needs * Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals where required * Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times The Successful Candidate Will: * Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND * Be calm, patient, nurturing, and resilient * Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills * Be adaptable and confident working across different school settings * Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs * Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required * Hold a relevant TA or SEND qualification (desirable but not essential) What We Offer: * Flexible working opportunities to suit your availability * Competitive daily pay rates * Opportunities across a variety of supportive local schools * Ongoing support from dedicated education consultants * Valuable experience across different SEND settings * Opportunities for long-term and permanent placements * Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities Safeguarding Statement We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
