We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Engineering Teacher to join a specialist engineering school teaching students from Year 9 upwards. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical Engineering lessons that develop students’ technical knowledge, creativity, and employability skills. Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Engineering lessons to students from Year 9 upwards, creating engaging and practical learning experiences.
- Plan and implement an inspiring curriculum that develops technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and industry-relevant skills.
- Support students in understanding key engineering concepts, including design, manufacturing, systems, and technology.
- Differentiating learning effectively to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data and feedback to inform planning and raise achievement.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, professionalism, and safety within practical workshop and classroom settings.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and contribute to wider STEM initiatives across the school.
- Encourage students’ confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence through hands-on learning opportunities.
- Support enrichment activities, employer engagement projects, and extra-curricular opportunities linked to engineering and technology.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Engineering, Design Technology, or a related STEM subject.
