Behaviour Support Worker – SEMH & Behavioural Support

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour support workers to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural difficulties. The school is keen to speak with applicants from a variety of backgrounds including education, care and sports coaches.

This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:

* Provide support to primary – aged pupils with additional learning needs, particularly SEMH and challenging behaviour

* Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to promote engagement, wellbeing, and progress

* Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider support team to implement tailored behaviour and learning strategies

* Help create a positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience supporting children with additional learning needs, particularly SEMH, is desirable

* A Team Teach qualification is a distinct advantage

* Strong communication skills, patience, and a resilient, caring approach

* A genuine passion for helping children thrive both emotionally and academically
