ZEN DOG — DRIVER & DOG WALKER WANTED.
We’re looking for a reliable, caring and easygoing Driver & Dog Walker to join our team.
Hampstead & Surrounding areas inc Central London. 7 am – 1 pm, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime + some weekend cover. £15 per hour + extra pay for overnight boarding.
Self-employed.
Company vehicle provided.
Fuel & parking covered.
Up to 4 dogs per walk.
What does a typical day look like?
Your day will usually start around 7 am, collecting dogs from their homes across Hampstead and the surrounding areas.
By around 8 am, you'll arrive at Hampstead Heath or Kenwood House for a 1–2 hour walk with up to 4 dogs.
After the walk, you'll drop the dogs home, before collecting the next group and heading out for another walk.
The morning will generally consist of pick-ups, walks, drop-offs, and caring for the dogs.
You'll be outdoors and on your feet for much of the day, so you need to be comfortable with long walks in all weather.
About you
- A genuine animal lover.
- A confident, responsible driver with no points on their licence.
- Physically fit and happy with walking long distances every day.
- Very attentive to the dogs in their care, particularly as some may be injured, elderly, or have individual needs.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
- Caring, easygoing and naturally Zen.
- Able to take initiative and work independently.
- Personable and confident when dealing with clients.
- Based locally in or around the Hampstead area.
- Able to provide a clean, well-kept and appropriate home environment for dog boarding.
Previous professional dog-walking or animal-care experience is preferred, but above all we're looking for someone who is responsible, caring and genuinely loves dogs.
