Zelph is a product-led engineering company building and operating complex, business-critical platforms for regulated and high-growth organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Engineer / Tech Lead to join our internal team. This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership over architecture, code quality, and delivery.

You’ll help lead development on large Laravel applications built with Laravel, Filament, Livewire, and MySQL, and play a key role in shaping technical direction and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Own and lead development of production Laravel applications
  • Make architectural decisions and optimise performance
  • Build admin and internal tools using Filament
  • Develop reactive interfaces with Livewire
  • Design and maintain REST APIs
  • Lead and mentor engineers through reviews and guidance
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  • Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
Requirements
  • 6+ years Laravel experience at a senior level
  • Prior experience leading a development team
  • Strong MySQL skills
  • Experience with Filament, Livewire, and Laravel deployment (e.g. Forge)
  • Solid REST API, CI/CD, and Git experience
Nice to Have
  • Experience with regulated or compliance-heavy platforms
  • Multi-tenant or role-based access control experience
