Zelph is a product-led engineering company building and operating complex, business-critical platforms for regulated and high-growth organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Engineer / Tech Lead to join our internal team. This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership over architecture, code quality, and delivery.
You’ll help lead development on large Laravel applications built with Laravel, Filament, Livewire, and MySQL, and play a key role in shaping technical direction and mentoring other engineers.
Responsibilities- Own and lead development of production Laravel applications
- Make architectural decisions and optimise performance
- Build admin and internal tools using Filament
- Develop reactive interfaces with Livewire
- Design and maintain REST APIs
- Lead and mentor engineers through reviews and guidance
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- 6+ years Laravel experience at a senior level
- Prior experience leading a development team
- Strong MySQL skills
- Experience with Filament, Livewire, and Laravel deployment (e.g. Forge)
- Solid REST API, CI/CD, and Git experience
- Experience with regulated or compliance-heavy platforms
- Multi-tenant or role-based access control experience
- Ownership of long-term, real-world systems
