Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room (ER) Doctor to join our medical team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position is vital for ensuring timely and effective treatment, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical attention to patients in emergency situations.
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients’ conditions.
- Administer appropriate treatments and medications as required.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with the latest medical practices.
- Assist in the management of the emergency department, including supervising junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
- At least 3 years of experience in emergency medicine or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- ACLS & ATLS valid Certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
- Willing to work on a rotational basis and any location
