Deliver accurate, reliable payroll services that make a direct impact on our customers. We are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Managed Services team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality outsourced payroll service to a diverse customer base. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you will take ownership of payroll processing activities, manage complex queries, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure payrolls are delivered accurately, on time and in line with statutory requirements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for allocated customers, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Validate and process payroll data accurately, maintaining compliance with legislation.
  • Handle complex customer queries and escalations, providing clear and effective resolutions.
  • Maintain and improve payroll processes, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Produce reports, data and insights to support service delivery and performance.
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous payroll experience, ideally within an outsourced or managed services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A CIPP qualification (or progress towards this) and experience with payroll systems such as ResourceLink would be advantageous.
