A key part of this ambition is the growth of its Data, Analytics and Automation Consulting practice, which has created an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious consultant who is passionate about developing solutions for customers. You’ll be a key member of the wider team delivering customer-funded consultancy and projects focused on system integrations and automation for Payroll and HR solutions.

Your role will focus on working with clients to design and implement API integrations between the Zellis Intelligence Platform (MS Azure) and other customer systems and processes, as well as design, develop, and support Power Automate flows. You will be a subject matter expert in these areas, leading both design and delivery workstreams. You will have significant experience of building solutions using MS Power Platform and Power Automate.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead client deliveries, partnering with customers throughout the full project lifecycle—from initial discovery sessions, scoping workshops, writing specifications, development, to user acceptance testing and handover. You will be a passionate advocate for Data, Automation, and Analytics, and will support Sales, Commercial, and Customer Success Managers in pre-sales discussions to promote the practice's capabilities. Key success measures include delivering quality work on time and within budget, receiving excellent customer NPS feedback, and achieving chargeability targets.

You’ll be a strong communicator, able to engage audiences up to C-suite level, using your industry experience to advise, consult, and deliver solutions that add value to the customer. You will be passionate about learning and stay up-to-date on relevant skills, tools, and industry practices to continuously develop your team and effectively engage stakeholders internally and externally. Responsibilities:

  • Lead yourself and oversee virtual team members to deliver projects and solutions on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert for Data Integration & Automation solutions, becoming a trusted partner for our customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, scope, and quote projects, advising on best practices and recommended solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, engaging with internal and external senior stakeholders as needed.

Commercial:

  • Take accountability for your performance, ensuring work meets standards and deadlines to enable customer billing.
  • Deliver workshops and presentations to promote capabilities and drive sales pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities for process and capability improvements internally and for customer solutions.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, test, and support integration and automation solutions aligned with standards and best practices, ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Translate functional specifications into effective technical solutions, providing advice and creating technical documentation.
  • Design creative technical solutions to work around system constraints when necessary.
  • Follow project lifecycle standards, including QA and testing, and resolve support incidents, suggesting improvements.
  • Participate in on-call support as required.
  • Create and maintain documentation for solutions, processes, and data flows.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and practices.

Skills & experience:

  • Deep expertise in REST APIs with 5+ years of experience in building and managing solutions; hands-on experience with Power Automate solutions.
  • Experience in Payroll, HR, ERP, or Data Warehouse integrations, especially with transactional and master data.
  • Open-minded and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities while remaining focused.
  • Experience designing highly available technical services.
  • Experience with Azure APIM, Event Grid, Power Platform, and Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with external clients on solution delivery; Power BI experience is a plus but not essential.
