Role details
- Locations: 1 x Midlands and Northwest/Northeast; 1 x Bristol, Southwest, Wales and Ireland.
Ideally, someone with an innovative and motivational technical sales background within a manufacturing and supply business. You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and a driven Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager, playing a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving sales growth. This position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leveraging market knowledge to support long-term strategic ambitions.
Compensation
- OTE: £80,000 (including commission and car)
- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance
- Bonus/Commission: £8,000 - £10,000 if targets are met on bookings, then uncapped

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Intake
- Travel to sites across your region to deliver sales above budgeted levels.
- Generate a long-term pipeline of projects and opportunities.
- Self-generate new business and projects without reliance on leads.
- Lead sales initiatives and devise growth strategies based on customer needs and market intelligence.
- Create and manage forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis as required.
- Support marketing by providing input for sector or customer campaigns and collateral.
- Visit customers and attend/support exhibitions.
- Develop and expand fundamental technical knowledge of products and services offered.
- Build sector knowledge and a professional network.
- Maintain proficiency in CRM systems.
- Seek ways to improve company procedures, standards, and policies.
- Maximise ROI and profitability while remaining financially responsible at the quoting stage to mitigate potential impact.
- Develop, present, and implement commercial offerings that enable sales growth.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure commercial viability and appropriate product selection for customer solutions.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the business and promote a customer-centric culture.

- Business development experience for a company that designs, manufactures, and supplies both components and complete product and software platform solutions.
- Previous CRM experience.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across your regions.
