Role Overview
Location: Office Based, Gas Street Birmingham
Division: Professional Services
Reports to: Senior Professional Services Manager
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5hrs per week)
Position Summary
As a Professional Services Associate at Carl Zeiss Vision UK & Ireland, you will deliver Professional Services expertise across different areas of the business, being the optical and product expert, creating and delivering exceptional training to external and internal customers and working across departments in supporting delivery of business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Be a product ‘go to’ expert for the ZEISS business (lens and instruments).
- Create and deliver customer CPD (creation of content and delivery of content via various channels) encouraging greater ZEISS share of business through brand conversion.
- Create & deliver customer training presentations & skills workshops to promote ZEISS lenses, VTS & clinical instruments, aligned to commercial targets.
- Create & deliver the employee annual ZEISS internal learning programme (ZILP).
- Create & deliver internal product training presentations & workshops.
- Work across departments supporting business initiatives.
Required Knowledge & Experience
Essential Criteria
- Fully qualified Optometrist, with current GOC registration.
- Experience working in practice.
- Working knowledge of dispensing & lenses.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commercially aware.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in creating and delivering product / technical training programmes / CPD within an optical environment.
- Experience of public speaking.
