Your Role
This pivotal role at Carl Zeiss Vision UK (CZV UK) seeks a driven Project Manager or Change professional to lead and support strategic initiatives aligned with the UK&I growth ambition under #Agenda25 and beyond. It offers a unique opportunity to shape the local Change agenda and make a meaningful impact on both the business and the Change function. The role of Project Manager will involve:
- Lead and support the delivery of strategic projects, initiatives, and business changes by defining scope, setting deliverables, and developing adaptable project plans.
- Oversee project execution by assigning tasks based on team strengths, managing resources efficiently, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Manage project governance, including RAID and risk processes, while communicating updates, issues, and outcomes to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective collaboration through regular meetings, clear communication of responsibilities and deadlines, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by assisting in the development and implementation of project management best practices and supporting enterprise risk management efforts.
Your Experience
As a Project Manager you will have:
- Degree qualified or equivalent with professional certification (e.g., PRINCE2).
- Experienced in project delivery, including planning, estimation, requirements gathering, and creating Project Initiation Documents (PIDs).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools like Wrike, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and management levels.
- Skilled in problem analysis, troubleshooting, decision-making under pressure, and achieving project objectives.
You will ideally have:
- Experience working in SME environments.
- 5 – 10 years overall experience managing a wide range of projects through different stages.
