Carl Zeiss Vision UK are recruiting a Divisional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving new business and delivering ambitious growth targets from existing customer base within the Eye Care Professional channel. Leading a team of Account Managers through coaching and developing to achieve a high performing team culture.

Key Requirements of the role include:

  • To attract, retain and develop the most effective Account Managers in the Optical industry.
  • To create commercial strategies and business plans across Southern Territory and for each key account.
  • To create and execute key templates for reviewing progress and monitoring success versus aligned KPs.
  • To manage and grow the Zeiss lens sales within assigned Southern retail businesses that are considered strategically important and capable of creating substantial growth to the Carl Zeiss Vision Group, acting as a role model to the Account Managers.
  • To forecast revenues and EBIT in advance to support the budget process and reforecasting as required.
  • To co-create customer initiatives and promotions that support the development goals of the ZEISS business within key accounts and across territories.
  • To provide business case documentation to support activities requiring investment and gain company approval ahead of implementation.
  • To liaise, and communicate with internal teams, including the marketing team and customer care team over issues and opportunities concerning these customers.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Must have a proven track record in Sales.
  • A minimum 2 years’ experience as either a People Manager or Key Account Manager.
  • Graduate or equivalent calibre.
  • Full and clean driving licence.
