We’re looking for a Boots Team Regional Account Manager – Central to join us in a field-based role covering the A1/M1 corridor to North West London, including PE, LE, NN, MK, SG, LU, HP and NW London. Carl Zeiss Vision UK&I provides innovative optical solutions designed to support eye care professionals and deliver outstanding vision experiences for customers. Within our Commercial team, we work closely with retail partners to build strong relationships, develop their teams and create sustainable business growth.

Your Role

  • As Boots Team Regional Account Manager – Central, you will be responsible for growing new and existing accounts across your territory and helping Carl Zeiss Vision UK&I achieve its ambitious commercial growth plans.
  • Executing business and training plans across your defined territory in line with CZV UK budget and growth expectations.
  • Developing and maintaining successful relationships with key customers, managing account performance and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • Delivering engaging training programmes across key target stores to audiences including Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Consultants, while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Using commercial dashboards and data analysis to identify customer-level sales and product trends and maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Working collaboratively across Supply, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Customer Service, participating in and leading projects that support customers and the wider business.

Your Experience

  • Strong optical industry knowledge and experience, with the ability to apply your expertise to achieve positive outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Sales experience within the optical industry, with a results-focused approach and a strong understanding of account development.
  • Proven account management, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to identify insights, opportunities and practical commercial solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, combined with personal drive, accountability and the resilience to deliver results in a changing environment.

It would be desirable if you had:

  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification, such as FBDO.
  • A proven track record of delivering sales growth, revenue generation and return on investment.
  • Experience in optical dispensing, optical retail sales and/or delivering optical training.

Role Details

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week within our Commercial team. The role is field based and covers the A1/M1 corridor to North West London, including PE, LE, NN, MK, SG, LU, HP and NW London. The role reports to the Business Development Manager – Retail Chains.
