Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Claims Assistant to join our expanding Claims team at Zego. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Claims department. If you’re looking to be part of an innovative and fast-growing team that is redefining the claims process, this role is for you. Reporting to the Senior Technical Claims Manager, you will work closely with teams across Claims, Fraud, Data, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales. Your mission will be to ensure the seamless delivery and continuous improvement of the services Zego provides to our customers and partners.
What you'll be working on:
- Continuously assess the customer journey to ensure exceptional service standards are delivered to Zego customers.
- Conduct audits of both internal claims teams and external providers to maintain the highest technical standards.
- Support the development of claims teams through training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Leverage data from monthly audits and complaints to drive customer experience enhancements and identify opportunities for indemnity savings.
- Provide expertise and guidance on complex claims queries for both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Track and report on key claims initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Attend supplier and client meetings, building strong relationships to enhance claims processes.
- Help shape the future of Zego’s claims journey by influencing system development and enhancing automation capabilities.
- Champion claims data quality and completeness, collaborating with Data and Product teams to ensure critical information is accessible across internal systems.
What you'll need to be successful:
- You’ll have motor claims experience—desirably with an Insurtech or Motor Insurance provider.
- You have an understanding of the UK insurance market and the impact that quality data at volume can make on the customer experience as well as the bottom line of the company.
- You are an excellent communicator, confident articulating your ideas and perspectives individually and across the team.
- You are analytical and able to draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
- CII Certificate is desirable however not essential.

We ask you to spend at least one day a week in our London office. You have the flexibility to choose the day that works best for you and your team.
