What you will be doing:
- Shape the architecture of the iOS platform so it stays secure, fast and maintainable as the product grows.
- Deliver a consumer app experience that leads the market, so customers manage their policies and understand their driving without friction.
- Build and evolve the native mobile SDK that collects the data behind every driver score.
- Set technical direction and engineering standards that teams beyond your own follow.
- Raise the quality bar through code reviews, design docs and tech talks, so knowledge spreads rather than sitting with one person.
- Partner with Product Managers to launch features that customers actually use.
What you will need to be successful:
- Deep iOS experience - Around 6+ years building iOS applications, and you can point to what you shipped and why it mattered.
- Architectural judgement - A solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns and the trade-offs behind them.
- SDK craft - You have built SDKs that are scalable, performant and genuinely usable by third-party developers.
- Secure, high-performance engineering - You build iOS applications that hold up under real scale, security and performance pressure.
- Clear communication - You collaborate well with Product and other engineers and explain technical decisions in a way people can act on.
- You work AI-first - You will use AI daily here, and we mean daily.
