The team

Zego's new credit hire department is expanding, and we're looking for a Credit Hire Claims Handler to join us. You'll own a portfolio of credit hire cases, get customers back on the road, and be their main point of contact. We’re after a motivated, ambitious individual who wants to help shape its future, with real exposure to growth opportunities along the way. If you’re detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right, you’ll be perfect for this role.

What you will be doing

• Caseload management- Own a caseload of credit hire cases from initial vetting through to resolution, keeping accurate records.
• Customer support- Answer customer queries by phone and email, maintaining a professional standard throughout.
• Administration- Support with PCNs, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
• Cross functional collaboration: Align closely with Zego’s claims, legal, finance and insurance teams.

What you will need to be successful

• Attention to detail- Accurately record case information and identify discrepancies.
• Commercial awareness- Understand how your decisions affect wider business outcomes.
• Professionalism- Confident and clear communicating with customers by phone and email, leading with empathy and always representing Zego in a positive light.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset- Eager to learn and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Desirable- prior experience working in the insurance or motor claims industry.
• You work AI-first- You will use AI daily here, and we mean daily. You do not need to arrive an expert, but you do need to arrive curious, experiment fast, and take ownership of getting good quickly. People who wait to be trained will find this uncomfortable.
